What Is The Junior Section?
Junior Section is the middle age group in the Boys Brigade and is for boys aged 8-11 years old.
Our Junior section meets on Wednesday evenings between 6.00pm and 8.00pm in Talbot Road Methodist Church Hall (Richmond Road Entrance)
The section has usually had around 15-20 boys attending regularly per session, which makes for a good group for Wednesday night activities, which can get very energetic. many additional competitions and events.
Awards
Throughout their time in this age group young people can gain badges and recognition for their participation in the programme

The Junior Section has a varied programme of activities including

The Uniform
Children in the Junior Section wear a core uniform of a blue polo shirt and royal blue sweatshirt. On some occasions, such as parades, members will wear school trousers and footwear as part of the uniform.. Where do the badges go? Safe And Caring
All our adult volunteers undertake a disclosure (criminal records) check as part of their registration with The Boys’ Brigade, and are trained to provide a safe and caring environment for all children.
What It Costs
We charge a subscription which is be collected weekly and is £1.50 per week. This said, we don’t want any child to miss out because of cost, so if you have any concerns about finance please speak to a leader in confidence about this.
